The property is located in a peaceful zone, only 5 minutes by car (or 25 minutes walking) from Bellano village where you can find a supermarket as well as some nice local shops such as a butchery, a bakery, a pastry shop... Positioned on the east shore of Lake Como, it offers stunning sunsets!

There is a direct train connection (1h 10min) between Milan Centrale train station and Bellano. There are also three airports in the vicinity of the house. Milan Bergamo and Linate which are about 1h away by car and Milan Malpensa 1h30 away.

Additional information

On top of the 3 levels described above, there is a top floor (4th of the house) which is an independent unit with a separate entrance at the garage and gate level. This floor is not part of the rental we offer you and there is a single person who lives there all year round and has no access to the rest of the property. You might thus encounter her on the property access level but you will enjoy a full privacy on the rest of the property you rent including garden and pool.

The house is located about 150m above the lake level, far enough from the main road. It is in the countryside and the property is large enough to have no close neighbours around. The place is absolutely calm and you will enjoy a perfect rest there hearing only the water flowing from the small water stream at the end of the garden and birds singing.

The beautiful village of Varenna is only a 10 minute car drive from the property. Botanical gardens of Villa Monastero and Villa Cipressi in Varenna are popular tourist destinations. The beautiful villas Balbianello and Carlotta can also be reached by local ferries from Bellano center or by private boat services.

Many state of art restaurants are in the vicinity of the property. We are happy to share the list with you upon your booking.

There are numerous hiking and walking trails in the area including a hike connecting all the villages of the Como lake east shore which is accessible from the property's doorstep. Adrenaline-fuelled Jungle Raider Park is a 45 minute car ride away. Private motor boat renting is available in Bellano.

The price includes a weekly professional cleaning of the house, linen and towels (including swimming pool towels) and an in person welcome assistance on arrival.
